Ayurveda divides all living beings, not just humans, into three distinct body types: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha body type based on their unique constitution.
Imagine the 5 inert elements coming together and transforming into 3 dynamic energies called doshas.
The three doshas are Vata energy, Pitta energy, and Kapha energy.
As a result, everybody also has all three basic energies of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. This is fundamental to all.
Are you wondering which body type you are? You will know more about your unique body type in a minute. This simple, quick, easy, and fun quiz will help you identify your special body type.
Go with your first guess, you can’t go wrong! (tip: read to the end to get to the juicy parts)
If you mostly picked qualities in option 1 to describe yourself, you are a Vata body type.
This simply means by nature Vata types have highly functioning circulatory systems within their bodies.
Because of this Vatas are prone to losing moisture from their skin, have erratic hunger, and stay lean and skinny no matter what they eat.
When a Vata displays a negative state of mind, their skin feels dry, mind spirals into anxiety and they develop signs of digestive disturbance like gas, bloating and constipation.
Vata people tend to be skinny minnies; when the weather turns cold, they have cold hands and itchy toes, dry skin and they are more likely to suffer from anxiety, restlessness, arthritis, and constipation.
Think of a peeled fruit sitting on a countertop, how would you protect it? You do the same for your beautiful Vata body to balance.

Ayurveda Body Type Dosha Quiz Result: PITTA BODY TYPE
If you mostly picked qualities in column 2 to describe yourself in this Ayurveda test for the body type, you are a Pitta.
This means metabolic processes in your body are prone to go on an overdrive. Because of this Pittas have immense appetites, are aggressive, driven, and intense.
Pitta people run “hot,” have medium athletic bodies, and have warm soft skin; they have strong appetites, are controlling, sharp intellects, and have quick to react rather than respond with patience.
When the Pitta is in a negative state of mind, their circulation and absorption of nutrients and waste materials are suppressed. they develop diarrhea, rashes, ulcers, and inflammatory conditions.
Think of a loaf of bread in an oven with faulty temperature control. You would be careful around the Sun and spices if you are a Pitta.

Ayurveda Body Type Dosha Quiz Result: KAPHA BODY TYPE
If you mostly picked qualities in option 3 to describe yourself, you are a Kapha body type.
This simply means by nature Kapha types have highly functioning stabilizing systems within their bodies.
Because of this Kaphas gain weight no matter how little they eat.
When Kapha displays a negative state of mind, they curl up in bed, they like to stay at home and they frequently catch coughs, colds, sinus infections.
Kapha people tend to be loving, loyal sweethearts; when the weather turns cold, they have cold hands and clammy skin and they are more likely to suffer from lethargy, sadness, diabetes, cholesterol, etc.
Think of a sponge soaking wet with water.
